Why did you start working with Kirsty?

I joined because after four years of tutoring I had grown my business to the point where there was nowhere further to go. I was bursting at the seams with students and needed ideas as to how I could diversify.

I also craved a connection with other tutors, as it’s a lonely occupation at times and I wanted a group who would bounce ideas around so that I could learn new things. 

How has your life changed, since working with Kirsty?

I have learnt so many things! I also feel much more supported in what I am doing, not just drifting along on my own. I know Kirsty has my back!

I also feel that I am running my tutoring service more like a business, getting policies and structures and systems in place.

I am more confident in what I am doing and in considering possible directions for the future.

What would you say to others, considering working with Kirsty?

If you are at a point in your business where you need support and ideas, or if you are even considering starting a business but are not quite sure of the first step to take, join the group. It is geared specifically to your venture – this is not your typical small business mentor group. It is specific to tutoring, and I don’t know of anywhere else where you can get this specialised kind of support. We are teachers who can relate to your experiences and Kirsty has a wealth of ideas to share.  You will be supported by others who are taking similar steps, and having someone to share the journey with is so much nicer than travelling alone!

Why did you start working with Kirsty?

After 10 years running my tutoring business as a solo tutor, I knew I could never increase my income continuing the way I was.  I had lots of ideas, but I didn’t have the confidence or know how to execute them.  I could see that Kirsty had the experience and knowledge that I needed to help me take my business to the next level.

How has your life changed, since working with Kirsty?

I am happier with the direction I am going.

I am achieving the goals I am setting for myself, because I now know how to action them with confidence.

Kirsty holds me accountable and this drives me to keep chipping away at achieving my goals.

What would you say to others, considering working with Kirsty?

Working with Kirsty has been well worth the investment. It is an opportunity to discuss your ideas and get genuine feedback and advice from someone who understands the industry. Most business coaches do not have the shared teaching background and unfortunately teachers are not typically business minded people, so it’s great to have someone who understands and relates to our mindset.

Kirsty is a kind and compassionate person and this is reflected in the community that she has created. She is always available to give support and feedback and is genuinely interested in all of our businesses. Most of all, I have finally felt that my goals are achievable and that I am as worthy as any other person in pursuing my dreams.
