EVENT TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions apply to Tutors Day Out, provided by Kirsty Gibbs ABN 30057116596, trading as Kirsty Gibbs (“we”, “our”, or “us”).
By registering and purchasing a ticket to Tutors Day Out (“Event”), you (“Participant”, “you”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms are to be read together with any applicable services agreement, policies, or other formal written agreements between us. Together, these documents form the entire agreement.
These Terms become binding once you register for the Event, access any Event-related materials, or make any payment.
Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing your ticket.
By registering for the Event, you confirm that you:

have read and understood these Terms;

agree to be legally bound by them; and
-
are over 18 years of age with legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
Event Details
Event: Tutors Day Out
Date: Friday 17 April 2026
Time: Approximately 9:00am – 4:30pm
Location: Sydney (inner-city location)
The exact venue will be confirmed and communicated prior to the Event. The venue will be selected to support a connection-focused, round-table experience and will be accessible via public transport.
Eligibility
Tutors Day Out is open to individuals operating, or intending to operate, a tutoring business.
Tickets are limited and secured only upon full payment.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any participant who does not comply with these Terms or the Code of Conduct.
What Your Ticket Includes
Your ticket provides access to:
-
Live training, facilitated workshops, and discussions
-
Panel sessions and guest speakers (where applicable)
-
Event materials provided on the day
Travel, accommodation, meals (unless otherwise stated), and personal expenses are not included.
Payment
-
Ticket prices vary depending on release phase (Founding, Early Bird, Standard, Late Release).

All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.

Full payment is required at the time of purchase to secure your ticket.

Tickets are non-refundable, except where the Event is cancelled by us.
Refunds, Transfers & Cancellations
Refunds
All ticket purchases are non-refundable.
Ticket Transfers
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your ticket to another eligible participant, provided that:
-
you notify us in writing at least 7 days prior to the Event; and
-
the replacement participant meets eligibility requirements.
Any financial arrangement between you and the replacement participant is your responsibility. We do not facilitate ticket resales or reimbursements.
Event Changes or Cancellation
We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the Event due to circumstances beyond our control, including (but not limited to) venue issues, illness, severe weather, or other unforeseen events.
If the Event is cancelled by us, we will offer either:

a transfer to a rescheduled date; or
-
a refund of the ticket price paid.
We are not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by participants.
Code of Conduct
Tutors Day Out is designed to be a respectful, supportive, and connection-focused environment.
By attending, you agree to:
-
behave professionally and respectfully at all times;
-
respect the confidentiality of personal or business information shared by other participants; and
-
refrain from disruptive, inappropriate, or disrespectful behaviour.
We reserve the right to remove any participant who breaches this Code of Conduct without refund.
Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in Event materials — including training content, presentations, worksheets, and resources — remain the exclusive property of Kirsty Gibbs.
You are granted a limited, non-transferable licence to use Event materials for personal use within your own tutoring business only.
You must not:
-
copy, distribute, sell, or share Event materials;
-
record sessions for redistribution; or
-
modify or repurpose materials for commercial use or resale.
Photography & Promotional Use
The Event may be photographed for promotional and marketing purposes.
By attending, you consent to the use of your image or likeness in promotional materials unless you notify us in writing prior to the Event.
If you do not wish to be photographed, please email [email protected] at least 48 hours before the Event.
The Event will not be recorded for participant distribution.
Sponsors & Partners
The Event may be supported by sponsors or partners. Sponsor involvement does not constitute an endorsement of any product or service unless explicitly stated.
Complaints & Dispute Resolution
If you have concerns or complaints, please contact [email protected] with details of the issue.
We will acknowledge complaints within three (3) business days and aim to resolve them within fourteen (14) business days.
Participants agree not to publicly disparage us, the Event, or other participants online or offline.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will proceed to mediation in accordance with the Australian Mediation and Conciliation Rules. If mediation fails, the matter will fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in the Australian State or Territory in which we operate.
Privacy
Personal information is collected solely for the purpose of managing your participation in the Event and communicating relevant details.

Travel, Parking & Personal Responsibility
Participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and parking arrangements. We are not liable for parking availability, costs, or loss of personal belongings.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Australian State or Territory in which we operate. Participants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
Acceptance
By purchasing a ticket to Tutors Day Out, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
