'Tutor Boost Workshop' Terms and Conditions

 

WORKSHOP TERMS & CONDITIONS 

These Terms and Conditions apply to the "Tutor Boost Workshop" provided by Kirsty Gibbs ABN 30057116596, trading as KIRSTY GIBBS (‘we’, ‘our’, or ‘us’). By registering and paying for the Tutor Boost Workshop (‘Workshop’), you (‘Participant’, ‘you’) agree to these Terms and Conditions.

These terms and conditions are to be read together with our services agreement and any other formal written agreements between us. These documents together form our entire agreement.

These terms and conditions will become binding once you agree to proceed with a program, use a program or make any payment for a program.

Please read these Terms and Conditions (‘Terms’) carefully before you purchase or otherwise sign up to our 'TUTOR BOOST WORKSHOP’. 

By signing up for the workshop, you: 

  1. acknowledge that you have read, and agree to comply with and be legally bound by, these Terms; and 
  1. warrant that you are over 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. 

 

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, consistent with applicable laws and principles, without notice to you. These changes will be effective as of the date we post the revised version on this Site. 

By purchasing a spot in this workshop, you are deemed to accept any future amendments to these Terms. If you are uncertain about the Terms or anything else on our Site, please don’t hesitate to contact us before completing any purchase.  

 

Workshop Details

  • Date: 14th April 2025

  • Time: 9:30 am to 4:00 pm

  • Location: Brisbane, Shared Workspace (specific details provided upon registration)

Eligibility

  • Open to any individual operating a tutoring business.

  • Spots are limited to eight (8) participants and secured only upon full payment.

Workshop Inclusions

  • Coaching and training sessions

  • Workbook and business templates

Payment

  • The Workshop fee is AUD $297 (including GST).

  • Full payment must be made upfront to secure your spot.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

  • More than 30 days notice: 50% refund upon written notice emailed to [email protected]

  • Within 30 days of the event: No refund available. However, you may transfer your place to another eligible participant. No financial exchange will occur through us; any reimbursement arrangements are between you and your replacement.

Event Changes or Cancellation

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the Workshop only in exceptional circumstances, such as severe weather conditions or other emergencies beyond our control. If the Workshop is cancelled by us, we will endeavour to reschedule at a later date, with at least 30 days notice.

Code of Conduct

Participants agree to:

  • Maintain respectful, professional behaviour throughout the Workshop.

  • Respect the confidentiality of information shared by other participants during the Workshop.

Failure to adhere to this may result in removal from the Workshop without refund.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in Workshop materials, including but not limited to training content, coaching materials, workbooks and templates, remain the exclusive property of Kirsty Gibbs.

Participants are granted a limited, non-transferable license to use provided templates exclusively within their own tutoring business. Participants agree not to:

  • Copy, distribute, sell or share Workshop materials.

  • Modify or repurpose Workshop materials for resale or external distribution.

Promotional Activities

  • Portions of the Workshop may be recorded and used for promotional purposes on our website and social media channels.

  • Participants who do not wish to be recorded or tagged on social media must notify us in writing prior to the Workshop date by emailing [email protected]

  • The Workshop recordings will not be sold or otherwise distributed commercially.

Complaints

If you have any concerns or complaints, please contact us directly at [email protected], providing detailed information and your desired resolution. We will acknowledge your complaint within three (3) business days and aim to resolve it within fourteen (14) business days.

Participants agree not to publicly disparage us, our Workshop, or any participants involved, whether online or offline.

In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved directly, the matter will proceed to mediation according to The Arbitrators and Mediators Australian Mediation and Conciliation Rules. Should mediation fail, disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in our business's State or Territory.

Privacy

Your personal information is collected solely for managing your participation in the Workshop and communicating with you regarding event details. We handle your information according to our Privacy Policy, available at https://www.kirstygibbs.com/privacypolicy.

Parking

Participants acknowledge responsibility for their own parking arrangements. We assume no responsibility or liability for parking availability, costs, or related issues.

Acceptance

By registering and paying for the Workshop, you acknowledge your acceptance of and agreement to these Terms and Conditions.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in the Australian State or Territory in which we operate. Participants agree to submit exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
